Ministry Group Activities
Choir Singers Needed!!
New singers are needed in the both the 8am Heritage Choir and the 9:30am Worship choir. The Heritage Choir particularly needs basses and altos. The Worship Choir needs more men. All singers are welcome however in both choirs. The choirs rehearse separately on Tuesday nights in the choir room (behind the back balcony in the sanctuary): the Heritage Choir from 6:30-7:30pm and the Worship Choir from 7:35-8:35pm. Choir experience and music reading skills are not required, just a willingness to practice, learn as you go and sing together with others in service to our Lord. The choirs begin practicing again on Tuesday, August 24th. For more information talk to any choir member or contact the director, Brian Patton.
Ministries Gearing up for Fall
Fall means that many of our groups start meeting again. Here are some meeting dates and times:
We Care Bible Study - begins a new study Sunday, August 15th, 6pm Breakers Grace Group - Friday, August 27th, 6-8pm Prayer Shawl Ministry - Monday, August 30th, 1pm Seasoned Adults - Tuesday, September 7th, 11:30am

Children's Ministry Gearing Up for Fall
First of all, thanks to all members and staff of Grace who made this year’s Friday Night Kidz Kamp a success. We could not have done it without you all!
This is the time of year when Children’s Ministries becomes very active and we are in need of lots of help.
August 22nd – Children’s Church will re-start during the 11am service. If enough volunteers come forward, you would only have to help out once a month or less! Please consider helping this vital ministry become a success.
August 29th – Sunday School Rally Day
This is the start of the new Sunday School year. We have a need for Sunday School aides, co-teachers and substitutes. Please check the bulletin board in the narthex for classroom needs and opportunities. Prayerfully consider being part of this important ministry here at Grace. This is both a great blessing to you and to the children!
September 8th – JOY Groups begin again!
We need various leaders to guide 3rd through 6th
graders on Wednesday nights with a Bible lesson, craft and games. If you enjoy adventure, this one’s for you!
If you can help with any of these Children’s Ministries, please contact Frieda Guthrie. Help us make this year of a wonderful experience for all of our children!

Church By-Laws
The Congregational Engagement Team had a meeting last Sunday to discuss the Experimental By-laws. Many good points were raised. If you were unable to attend, but have comments about the original or experimental by-laws you would like for the Team to consider, please speak to any of the Team members with your comments or concerns.
